2 sides to every story

You're dead
Everyone is in black and red
But yesterday you were sitting here drinking tea and eating bread
It's just so weird

The heart trembles with fear
Just like the earth as we hope it doesn't tear
Death strikes us like lightening
As it shines it's light,
Leaving us in disarray

So what's next,
do we mourn or celebrate?
Do we cry or smile?
'Cos there's always two sides to every story

Just like everything in life
It withers and dies
So why do we cry?
When we know that one day you'll be in the sky?
But well...
That's one side of the story

The children run in circles full of smiles
And reminds us of our journey through miles.
We fear death
But we live as if we are deaf
Refusing to hear when other's say
'You only live once'
Until the last minute,
When you realize what joy it is to be alive

So it's up to those you leave behind
To celebrate your life for you
And find that strength to continue the celebration
Till they also lay down to their last breath and reminisce

...And that's the other side of the story...

So make your choice
You have two options
With different functions
That require careful calculations
For guidance along the path of bereavement
